Running is a language.
-Obsie Birru
Have you ever thought of running as a language? There is an understanding, a connection that happens while running in stride with another person. When Obsie first moved to the US when she was 12 she found others who spoke the language of running too. She then developed friendships, strong coach connections, and even mentorship and coaching of children.
Obsie works with Girls on the Run and other youth programs. She is also participates in ChildServe which supports children with special needs. You can join on June 13 for your choice of a 5k and mile virtual race. You can run, walk, push your kids, whatever way you would like to participate. Here is the link.
