Carrie is a first grade teacher and professional runner out of Boulder, CO. Carrie runs with Team Boulder Elite and is coached by Lee Troop. In recent years Carrie has hit numerous PRs including 10,000m 31:37.26 (2022), 32sec PR. Half Marathon 1:10:11 (2021), Marathon 2:31:51 (2021, Chicago Marathon 7th place) and placed 9th at the US Cross Country Championship. Carrie doubled at the US Olympic Trials in both the 5000m and the 10000m event.
Carrie’s running story begins as a youth runner where she immediately caught attention earning 11th at the California State Meet as a Freshman in highschool and winning the meet as a junior and senior.

Surround yourself with a good support system. View breaks from running and injury as a time to reset your thinking about the sport. Returning to confidence doesn’t start when you begin running fast times, but outside of performance. Confidence and clarity about running’s role in your life may liberate you to run your best.
