Great episode! Regarding the fueling topic toward the end…what have you read (or what do you advise) regarding in-race fueling for the half marathon distance? Specifically…is it necessary or helpful? I know it’s important for the marathon distance, but it has never occurred to me to consider in-race fueling during a half! Normally I just take advantage of the water/Gatorade stations as needed, but should I also think about trying something with more of an energy benefit?
