Today’s guest is Patti Catalano Dillon. Patti dominated women’s running in the 70 and 80s setting world records in the half marathon, 30k, and 20k distances. She also held American records in the marathon, half marathon, 30k, 15k, 10 mile, and 5 mile events.
Currently Patti is a motivational speaker and running coach. As a pioneer for women’s athletics and indigenous people, Patti speaks. In fact “PattiSpeaks” is her website and @pattispeaks227 is her instagram handle.
There is a movie coming out based on Patti’s life and her running career is a big part of that story.
Today we have the honor of having Patti share how she faced fears, took seriously the challenge of discovering her best, and broke barriers for the history books in the process.
